English Classes Utilize the City Library Resources in Research
The members of the 8th grade English classes are currently working on the research and preparation for their argumentative essays. These essays allow the students to become educated on a current topic, develop their own personal opinions based on the current research and appropriately communicate their findings in writing.
Students recently traveled to the Jasper City Library to use the many varied resources that are available in their collections. Mrs. Lotspeich, an 8th grade English teacher, stated, “The students were very focused and truly appreciated the different sources available in the local library. Many students are not regular visitors of the local public library, and this short trip gave them a glimpse into the valuable resources right at our back door.”
