Eighth Grade Advanced English Class Sees The Hunger Games!

The members of the 8th grade Advanced Language Arts classes recently read The Hunger Games together and completed reading projects on the popular book by Suzanne Collins.

As a reward at the end of the unit of study, the class was allowed to go see the movie on the day of it’s premiere!  All students agreed that The Hunger Games is an amazing read and an amazing movie!

This project is just one way our teachers want to bring literature to life for our students.  The excitement generated by these interesting books has rekindled the love of reading for many Maddox students!
